The former 2NE1 member will be making a guest appearance at G-Dragon’s solo tour stop in Philippines.
Sandara Park is set to perform alongside G-Dragon at his upcoming show. YG Entertainment confirmed on Saturday, August 26 that the former 2NE1 singer will be making a guest appearance at G-Dragon’s solo tour stop in Philippines.
G-Dragon’s Manila stop of his world tour “Act III: Motte” will take place on September 1 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. This will be the first time in 8 years Sandara and G-Dragon perform together on one stage, since 2009 when she made a guest appearance during the “Bang Bang Bang” singer’s first ever solo concert, “Shine A Light”.
The “Act III: Motte” tour was launched in support of G-Dragon’s self-titled album “Kwon Ji Yong“. “Act III” represents the beginning of the third decade of the Big Bang singer’s life, while “M.O.T.T.E” meaning “mother’s womb” in Korean, or “from birth”, also serves as an acronym for “Moment Of Truth The End”.
The world tour is currently taking place in a total of 29 cities worldwide before wrapping up on October 8 in Taipei, Taiwan.
G-Dragon released a music video for the original lead single “Bulls**t” to celebrate his 29th birthday on August 18. The video, which was filmed in Los Angeles and featured a cameo appearance by American hip-hop artist Tyler The Creator, is available online via a download link on the USB accessible only to those who have purchased the physical version of the album.
Back in July, G-Dragon promised his fans that Big Bang would definitely be back as 5 members despite T.O.P’s recent legal trouble. He posted on Instagram, “Was incredible show in #Houston. ‘Act III, M.O.T.T.E’ Becoz of you guys! Thank you and love you from the bottom of my heart I’ll be back with my boys ‘BIGBANG’ together DEF! Plz wait for us and keep support #Promise.”
