As “” fans prepare to say on tonight’s season 14 finale, some thought that one exit in particular might make way for who’d previously departed Grey Sloan Memorial. Sadly, the actress who plays the character in question has made it clear that that return isn’t going to happen.

Ramirez played Dr. Callie Torres on “Grey’s” for 10 seasons,at the end of season 12. Her character dated Dr. Arizona Robbins (played by Jessica Capshaw), who along with Dr. April Kepner (Sarah Drew) is also set to say farewell to the drama.
In an, the actress said that she was still on good terms with the “Grey’s” team and creator Shonda Rhimes, and was “open” to appearing on the show again in the future. So even though it’s not happening now, there’s still a chance it could happen someday. (And since Arizona probably , maybe they can reunite during that hypothetical episode instead? Hey, we can dream.)
