Emilia Clarke Posts Emotional ‘Goodbye’ to ‘Game of Thrones’: ‘It’s Been a Trip’ Album

The Mother of Dragons has #lastseasonitis after completing “Game of Thrones.”

Last month it was revealed that Emilia Clarke had already filmed Daenerys Targaryen’s final moments on the HBO series; but since the show tapes out of order, she still wasn’t done with the rest of Dany’s story.

The cast and crew had a series wrap party a couple of weeks ago, but stars kept getting called back to Northern Ireland for more.

But now it looks like that’s a wrap for the Khaleesi.

Emilia Clarke shared this photo honoring her own powerful journey across the past several years:

Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade. It’s been a trip @gameofthrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I’d be able to live and the family I’ll never stop missing #💔#lastseasonitis

Just the day before, Clarke posted a photo with John Bradley, Conleth Hill (Varys), and co-showrunner Dan Weiss at a Liam Gallagher concert, calling the “Game of Thrones” group #heartbreakclub because it’s #almostover:

The human embodiment of a wonderwall. Thank you #liamghallager for the reminder.. #❤️ #🙌 #90’stributebandlookalikes? #motherofsingalongs @johnbradleywest @gameofthrones #heartbreakclub #almostover

We’ll miss you most of all, Emilia’s GoT hashtags.

“Game of Thrones” Season 8 is the final season of the series. It will feature only six episodes, to premiere at some point in 2019 on HBO. We’re ready. We’re not ready. We’re ready. We’re not ready. We’re…
